Toledo Trucking Association President & Board Member
NST is strongly involved in the Toledo Trucking Association with Sandra Moore being not only an active Board Member but the first female President for the 2009 & 2010 years. The mission of the TTA is to improve and protect the business climate of the trucking industry through safety, awareness, education and positive image , which is achieved through fellowship and networking with other trucking associations on both state and federal levels.
OTA Fleet Safety Awards Announced, Ohio Trucking Association, September 28, 2006
For the first time in many years, OTA revived it's fleet safety awards program, and the winners for this year received their recognition at the 2006 Convention at the Bertram Inn in Aurora. Great West Casualty Co. is the sponsor of the handsome plaques and two grand prize crystal tractor-trailers.
The contest was divided into two divisions; small (0/5 million miles) and large (over 5 million). The small division was further divided into four size categories and the large into two.
Northern Steel Transport was the winner of the Safety Award for the Small Division for 2005.
