Certified Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for a well experience Diesel Truck and Trailer Mechanic. The successful candidate has to have diagnostic and rebuild experience on Detroit Diesel, Caterpiller, & Cummins Engines. Transmission and rear end experience and/or having a CDL license would be beneficial but is not required. Rate of pay will be based upon experience, certifications and ability to work without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Our Company has been a contributing member of the Toledo area for over 50 years.  We are looking for a certified Mechanic to join our staff. This successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience with all series of class 8 trucks and trailer equipment. They must possess basic knowledge of equipment’s mechanical and electrical systems in order to perform preventative and repair functions including but not limited to; tire replacement, torque specification on wheel end components, hydraulic work, basic electrical work, and suspension and steering system maintenance. Having a CDL license would be beneficial but is not required.  Wage and benefits are commensurable with experience.

Dispatcher Wanted

Perform dispatch functions for local and over the road drivers ensuring that drivers are able to safely and efficiently pick up and drop loads obtained through our diverse client base.

Primary duties include: dispatching trucks, scheduling, routing drivers, covering back-hauls, and discussing delivery services with customers, and work efficiently with the Team. Responsible to ensure the most efficient freight movement and cost effective service as well as compliance with DOT and Safety regulations. Responsible to meet on-time performance requirements. Resolve transportation problems with urgency and professionalism. 

  • A proven track record in service, attendance and reliability
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
  • Effective listening and strong communication skills for interaction with drivers, customers and company staff

Regulatory Coordinator

Performs technical and administrative tasks in various areas of Human Resources as it relates to Safety and Compliance with DOT Regulations.


I.  Maintains DOT Compliance for multi company:

  • Ensures each driver employee file is DOT compliant
  • Processes annual MVR and Violation Review Project for all employees
  • Maintains the drug testing process for randoms and pre-employment
  • Oversees process of updating Physicals and CDL's monthly
  • Ensures company and legal compliance concerning DOT Hours of Service Regulations
  • Maintains process of citation intake, issuing points on driver safety index, and ensures payment is made for fines.
  • Responsible for the employment verification process and maintenance of USIS/DAC site
  • Responsible for the scanning, indexing, and maintenance of all HR, DOT, and Medical files into RVI

II.  Manages Emergency Support:

  • Responsible for managing staffing to provide 24 hour support.

III.  Professional Development and Teamwork

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending and participate in appropriate training
  • Contributes to the team effort by recommending improved processes
  • Works well with others within the department and company
  • Contributes to department goals by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Ensures company confidentiality

IV.  Leadership and Management:

  • Maintains information to operate in manual operation in the event of a Crisis
  • Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates job documentation of areas managed
